About Me

Thank you for taking a peek at my blog.  I am very excited about it.  

Let's see...what can I tell you about me?

I have been teaching for 15 years.  I have enjoyed it immensely!  Every day brings a new adventure.  I never know if one of the boys will be asking to wear my "granny" sweater (how rude), or if I will be receiving a simple smile from the shy one.  Laughter runs rampant in my classroom. Jokes are plenty. Learning is paramount. I will say, I always seem to have THE best students in the entire school!  :)  

I have tried to encourage my students to take risks and challenge themselves.  We do not know what we are capable of until we try something new. I believe we all fail, but it is through our failures that we learn the most.  

My son, Nicholas, graduated from high school this year.  I am very proud of him.  He has worked very hard to attain his goals.  I have worked very hard to retain my sanity!  :) He is my shining star. It will be strange having him attend college.
